What to Expect on Your Belize Reef Fishing Tour
Our Belize reef fishing tour from Hopkins is a great choice for both first-time anglers and experienced fishermen. Travel by boat to the Southern Belize Barrier Reef and enjoy a day on the Caribbean Sea with a knowledgeable local guide.
The adventure begins with a scenic boat ride from Hopkins. Along the way, your guide may stop near the mangroves to catch fresh bait using cast nets before continuing to productive fishing areas along the reef.
Depending on the conditions, you may fish by trolling or visit reef drop-offs where you can target king mackerel, barracuda, grouper, jacks and several varieties of snapper. Fishing conditions and catches vary, making every trip a unique experience.
Choose a half-day fishing tour for a morning on the water or spend the full day fishing along the reef. The full-day tour includes additional fishing time and a freshly prepared island-style BBQ lunch.
