Rental & Cancellation Policies
1. Highway Use Prohibited
Golf carts are not permitted on highways under any circumstances. Driving the golf cart on a highway is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 USD penalty.
2. Driver Requirements
Only individuals with a valid driver’s license or driver’s permit are permitted to operate the golf cart.
3. No Driving Under the Influence
Operating the golf cart while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
4. Traffic Laws
Drivers must obey all applicable traffic laws and local road regulations at all times.
5. Passenger Limit
Maximum capacity is 5 persons per golf cart. Overloading the golf cart is strictly prohibited.
6. Fuel Policy & Refundable Deposit
The golf cart will be delivered with a specified fuel level and must be returned with the same fuel level. A $50 USD refundable fuel deposit is collected with each rental. If the golf cart is returned at or above the original fuel level, the deposit will be refunded. If it is returned below the original fuel level, the $50 USD fuel deposit will be forfeited.
7. Rental Extensions
Any request to extend the rental period must be approved by Get To Know Belize Adventures before the original scheduled return time. Extensions are subject to availability and additional rental charges.
8. Late Returns
Golf carts must be returned at the agreed-upon time. Additional charges may apply to late returns.
9. Damage & Renter Responsibility
The renter accepts responsibility for the golf cart during the rental period, including damage, theft, loss, accidents, property damage, traffic violations, or misuse. The renter may be responsible for costs resulting from such incidents in accordance with the rental agreement.
10. Repairs & Alterations
Guests may not perform or authorize repairs, modifications, or alterations to the golf cart. Any mechanical issue must be reported to Get To Know Belize Adventures so that an authorized representative can assist.
11. Violations & Termination of Rental
Violation of these rental rules may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement without a refund. Additional charges or penalties may apply where specified in the rental agreement.
Golf Cart Rental Cancellation & Reservation Policy
Booking & Payment
A 50% deposit is required to confirm and secure your golf cart rental. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
The remaining balance is due on the day of delivery.
Cancellations
- Cancellations received 14 days or more before the scheduled rental date will receive a full refund of the initial deposit, less a 10% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 7–13 days before the scheduled rental date will receive a 50% refund of the initial deposit.
- Cancellations received 6 days or less before the scheduled rental date are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Change Your Reservation with No Penalty
We understand that travel plans can change. Guests may move a confirmed golf cart reservation to an alternate date within the next 12 months, subject to availability.
Requests to change a reservation must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time.
There is no change fee when moving the reservation to another date. The rental rate will remain the same when rebooking the same rental duration.
